AWAKE Arrives Full Force in the Spring Edition of Somerset Digital Studio Magazine

Somerset Digital Studio Magazine

Received my copy of the spring edition last night — and it’s just stunning. I was of course excited to see my article in there (accompanied by the gorgeous artwork of our AWAKE students Billa Bozem, Hazel Blake, and Caroline Julia Moore), but I was even more excited to see just how many of our AWAKE artists are featured in the magazine:

Billa Bozem, Hazel Blake, and Caroline Julia Moore … as I said … but also …

  • Michelle Giaimo (4-page spread)
  • Joy Duddell (4-page spread + 1 in the end gallery)
  • Joanne Caruth (2 images)
  • Jean Hutter (1 image)
  • Mejji Jackson Smith (1 image)
  • Anja De Dobbelaere (4-page spread)
  • Catherine King (1 image)
  • Ingrid Pomeroy (5-page spread + 1 in the end gallery)
  • Jana Holden (1 image)
  • Jennifer Wagner (1 image)
  • Trish Hoskin (1 image)
  • Marianne Arnhem Van (actually van Arnhem, with 2 images)
  • Sandi Terry (2 images)

We also saw some others from the Photoshop Artistry course …

  • Patsy Tabbert (with 4 images)
  • Donna Goar (with a 4-pager)
  • Miki Krueger (with 3 images)
  • Jeanne Draachreider (with 2 images)
  • Mary Bailey (1 image)
  • Peggy Gato (1 image)
  • Deborah Wagner (1 image)
  • Adryane Driscoll (4-page spread + 1 in the end gallery)

And of course, as ever, we saw our talented Anna Aspnes once again …

And then there was the clear star of the issue:

Rebecca McMeen — with two separate articles with 9 total pages + 3 more images in the end gallery!

Congratulations to Rebecca, and congrats to everyone who made this issue. (And anyone who didn’t but wished they had … get your submissions sent in for the Fall issue!)

Spring Edition
And remember, you can still grab a copy of the Spring edition either online at the link below, or often at a local craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby, or even at book stores like Barnes & Noble.

UPDATE: We sold out their entire print edition!!! Because of our group, Stampington sold out of the entire run. They now have a digital edition available (which is actually even better for folks overseas I suspect). That’s just excellent!

But cheers to anyone lucky enough to be holding a physical copy. This is a stunning magazine.

It’s exciting that we can play such a big role in it!

PS: Once more, thanks to AWAKE artists who contributed images to my article in the magazine. (Billa Bozem’s image is featured in the image above showing the magazine opened, and Caroline’s image is featured at the top of this post — making use of my photo of my model Kassidy.)
